Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Feeling Colorful,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 7:34
Feeling Colorful Excerpt:
Gentle waves flowed on the ocean’s surface above the colorful coral reef. Odette the octopus climbed out of a tiny cave to watch as the moonlight filtered down through the rolling sea. The entire reef glowed as the little octopus enjoyed the peaceful night.
“Hello Odette!” Connor the cleaner fish said, spotting his friend. The little octopus quickly changed color from her everyday purple to red, then yellow, and back to purple. “Whoa.” Connor said. “I’ve never seen you do that before.”
Odette glowed purple and said, “I thought you knew that I changed colors.”

Oscar Oven has a feature that he’s never used, and imagines all sorts of dishes he can cook.
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 4:19
Oven Imagination Excerpt:
The Parker family’s cozy kitchen was a warm and inviting space, with afternoon sunlight streaming through the blinds and casting soft shadows on the countertops. The walls were painted a cheerful yellow, and the cabinets were a warm cherry wood. Various items, including a fruit bowl, a stack of mail, and a few cooking utensils sat on the countertops. Billy was preparing to head outside to rollerblade. He donned his helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads, carefully making sure that everything was properly secured. Emily preferred to stay inside and draw. She grabbed a handful of colored pencils and settled in at the kitchen counter, leaning over her sketchbook with a look of intense concentration. Meanwhile, Mr. Parker sat at the counter with his laptop open, typing away as he answered some emails. The gentle hum of the refrigerator could be heard in the background. All in all, it was a peaceful and quiet afternoon.
Oscar Oven had been feeling a bit bored lately. He had been sitting in the Parker family kitchen for hours alone, while the family was away at work or school. Now, as he watched the family go about their afternoon activities, Oscar longed to have his burners and oven put to use to make something delicious for the family to enjoy.

Today’s the day Billy and Emily work together on their robot build. Where will their cooperation take the toy?
Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Robot Build,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 8:04
Robot Build Excerpt:
After dinner, Billy examined the instruction book one more time. He and Emily were going to build their robot today and he wanted to be prepared. As Billy read the instructions his little sister bounded down the hall. “Are you ready?” she asked sliding to a stop right next to her brother’s chair.
“I think I’d better read the manual one more time.” Billy said. He wanted to make the perfect robot.
Emily sighed. She knew her big brother had already read the manual twice. Emily also knew the look on Billy’s face. He needed to read it one more time. So even though Emily was eager to get started, she decided she would let her brother finish reading the instructions before suggesting that they begin the build. Instead she decided to try something else. “While you’re reading, I’ll organize the parts.” Emily suggested.
“Good idea!” Billy said as he turned to the last page of instructions.

Rani the Rhino comes across a fallen branch of mangoes! Will she share the fruit with her friends?
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 5:10
Marvelous Mangoes Excerpt:
One hot, sunny day in the Ahway Island Animal Sanctuary, Rani Rhino meandered through the sun-bleached grass, taking in the serene beauty that surrounded her. The sanctuary hummed with life as various animals went about their day. Nearby gazelles grazed in the grass, and colorful birds fluttered overhead. A gentle breeze rustled through the nearby trees, carrying with it the soothing scent of the earth. It was a perfect day for a leisurely walk, and Rani was happy to go wherever her fancy took her. As Rani continued her stroll, her hooves gently brushing against the soft blades of the grass, she stumbled upon a fallen mango branch. Many ripe mangoes still hung from it, and now the tantalizing orange fruits lay on the ground, in front of Rani, easily within reach.Rani’s mouth watered at the sight. Mangoes were her favorite! Usually, the fruit dangled so high in their tree that it was impossible for a little rhinoceros to reach them. Rani would normally count herself lucky if even one fell to the ground. But now, here in front of her, was a whole branch-ful of mangoes! George Turtle plays ‘I spy’ with Petunia Possum and Ballet Bunny on a hot day – but he picks something very difficult!
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 4:01
Color Confusion Excerpt:
It was a scorching hot day in the Ahway Island forest. The air was thick with humidity, and a lazy, lethargic atmosphere seemed to envelop the entire area. Even in the shade of the lush trees, many animals sought refuge from the heat by heading down to the pond to take a refreshing drink and cool off.
George Turtle had been napping in his cozy burrow, sheltered from the oppressive heat, when he woke up feeling quite thirsty. He stretched his legs and crawled out of his burrow to take a breath of fresh air. The heat was overwhelming, and George could feel his shell heating up under the sun’s rays peeking through the trees. He decided to head down to the pond to cool off, taking slow and careful steps to avoid overheating.
