Story Begins: 7:34
Feeling Colorful Excerpt:
Gentle waves flowed on the ocean’s surface above the colorful coral reef. Odette the octopus climbed out of a tiny cave to watch as the moonlight filtered down through the rolling sea. The entire reef glowed as the little octopus enjoyed the peaceful night.
“Hello Odette!” Connor the cleaner fish said, spotting his friend. The little octopus quickly changed color from her everyday purple to red, then yellow, and back to purple. “Whoa.” Connor said. “I’ve never seen you do that before.”
Odette glowed purple and said, “I thought you knew that I changed colors.”

790. Wondrous Water: a calming meditation and kid’s story
Oliver Elephant is thirsty and searches for water. He finds both water and a friend!
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 3:49
Wondrous Water Excerpt:
In the Ahway Island animal sanctuary lay a vast field of golden grass. A soft breeze swept through the field, causing the grass to ripple like flowing waves. On this sunny day, a little elephant named Oliver gazed out over his surroundings, and sighed. Oliver loved the way the grass swayed, and he felt grateful for the cool winds that blew all around him, but he felt something missing – his mouth was all dry, and he was thirsty!
Looking around, Oliver couldn’t see any water nearby. He thought maybe he could use his other senses to help him find some water. Oliver decided to go on a little adventure. Slowly, he started walking. His ears perked up, listening for the sound of trickling water. His trunk was poised to catch a whiff of it. His skin was looking for any sign of moisture in the air.

791. Beautiful Bracelet: a short story and guided meditation for kids
Ruby June makes a friendship bracelet for Lydia with the help of her mom.
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 4:35
Beautiful Bracelet Excerpt:
Ruby June sat in the comfortable couch in the salon, flipping through a glossy hair magazine. The air was filled with the soothing hum of hairdryers and the gentle chatter of stylists working their magic. Ruby June’s mother, Ms. Guerdy, was getting a fresh haircut, and while Ruby June waited for her mom to be finished, she explored the colorful world of hairstyles within the pages of the magazine.
As she turned the pages, Ruby June stumbled upon a picture that caught her eye. The person in the photo had intricate, tight braids that reminded her of her friend Lydia’s beautiful hair. Lydia marked the page so she could come back to it later.
