Lifestyle design. One of the most important things that my husband and I did was sit down and really designed the kind of life that we wanted to have. Once we understood how we wanted to live, we then retrofit our businesses and designed companies and processes that supported our life.

The gift of the pandemic was that it forced us to slow down. For many of us, this is the most time we have ever spent at home, with our spouses, and with our children. We got to experience LIFE - including family meals, movie nights, and the joy of doing nothing. As we return to our businesses, our clients and the industry are placing a tremendous burden on us to be "up and running" at mock speed so that we can make up for the lost 18 months. It's important to take advantage of the opportunities that are presenting themselves, but not at the expense of the life that you want to lead. In this episode, I discuss how my husband and I developed our personal success paradigm, and then how we use that to build businesses that support that life.
