The turning point came after she embraced motherhood, leading her to seek part-time work and eventually joining the Newtown Racquet Club, now the renowned Newtown Athletic Club. Within a year, her exemplary leadership skills propelled her to the director role of the aerobics program, marking the beginning of a lifelong association with NAC.
Under the visionary guidance of Jim Worthington, the club's owner, NAC witnessed exponential growth, allowing Linda to explore and excel in various facets of the industry without ever leaving the organization. Her journey from leading group exercise programs, with an expansion from three instructors to over 50 and offering 200 classes per week, to venturing into sales, marketing, and ultimately, public and community relations, exemplifies her adaptability and dedication.
Linda's influence extended beyond the club's walls as she played a pivotal role in NAC's philanthropic endeavors, particularly through the establishment and management of the NAC Have a Heart Foundation. Her efforts have significantly contributed to the community.
Moreover, Linda's advocacy work, especially in the successful passage of the Right to Try bill, showcases her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Her leadership in the NAC Have a Heart Foundation and the PA Fitness Alliance further highlights her dedication to service and community welfare.
