(#25) Emotional Reactivity & Big Money (How I Calmly Handled a $900 Vet Bill)
04/18/23 • 35 min
Today’s episode is part story time and part masterclass on how to heal emotional reactivity around money. Last Friday, I brought one of my sweet cats to the vet, she had a somewhat unexpected procedure, and the bill was over $900. Not to worry - she is doing great! What I’m celebrating is how calm and cool as a cucumber I was when they presented me with the bill. Inside of this episode I spill all the beans with you on how I got to this place. (Hint: it’s all grounded in my rock-solid belief that money is a renewable resource. Quality time with those we love [people and animals] is not.) I LOVED recording this episode for you, and I hope you love listening to it. May it shift something in you. May it land gently. Love you!

(#24) My Body Story From 10 Years Ago & My New Goals (#’s Included!)
Hello loves, spring has finally SPRUNG here! And I could not be happier. Yesterday was Easter Sunday, and I realized it has been 10 years since I had a very sad and uncomfortable realization about my body. On Easter 2013, I came to terms with how I was using food to cope, and just how much weight I had gained. That weekend I made a declaration that things had to change. I went on to lose a lot of weight, but the journey was anything but linear. Today I’m peeling back the curtain and sharing with you what I’ve learned and accomplished in those 10 years. Including...the dark time and struggle my family and I were going through in 2013, and how I wish I would have been kinder and more compassionate to myself during that time.
I’m also sharing with you what my new goals are for my body and my relationship to myself, food, and fitness. And I’m sharing some of my personal numbers and data, because I believe transparency is powerful - but a reminder we are ALL unique and that comparison is the thief of joy.
If you’re desiring to make changes from a place of love, desire, excitement, and gratitude for yourself - this is the episode for you! It’s full of duality, abundance mindset gold, hope, and proof of what’s possible for you too. I love you!
