Hello my friends, and welcome back to yet another episode of I Love Being Sober brought to you by Camelback Recovery - a proud partner to the most effective way to achieve long term recovery without the pain and suffering and high cost of multiple stints in detox, rehabs, and sober living homes. My name is Tim Westbrook and I am the CEO and Founder of Camelback Recovery here in the always sunny and always sober Scottsdale, Arizona where my team and I over the course of many years have helped thousands of people on their path to long term recovery. I started this show because there is so much misinformation about addiction treatment, mental illness, and addiction recovery in general. There is much more to recovery than just going to inpatient treatment, seeing a therapist, and going to 12 step meetings. Those things are important and AA saved my life. However, to find long term recovery and live happy, joyous and free, there is a lot more to it than just stopping the drinking, stopping the drugs, or stopping any addictive behavior. Sobriety and recovery can and should be fun. That’s not to say that the recovery process is going to be easy and it’s not to say that there won’t be difficult times ahead. However, to live the life that you deserve and for it to be exciting and fun you need new lifestyle habits. New healthy lifestyle habits that promote your mental, spiritual, and physical health. That my friends will lead you to living a KICK ASS SOBER LIFE! Visit CamelbackRecovery.com to learn more about recovery coaching, sober living, and your next step to freedom and happiness.

Hey, I'm Sally Osborne, the coming out coach. Raised in the LDS (Mormon) church, I had a clear plan for my life since as early as I can remember. Until everything suddenly imploded. After a deep dive into my soul, I experienced the excruciating pain of losing my faith. My internal world was destroyed and my external world came soon after. When I had the strength, I began to search for the bricks to begin rebuilding. I desperately needed to understand myself. To heal. To believe in myself. To FIND myself. And then to be true to myself. I realized I am GAY and have been my whole life! Soon after came the pain. Staying married to a man would have been the ultimate betrayal of self. So, I did it. I came out! I am living my truth. I'm here on the other side and you guys, believe me when I tell you it is WORTH IT! I don’t just feel happy, I feel ALIVE! And it is so beautiful. After coming out of religion or the closet, there are still challenges to be faced. THIS is life. Being a human is not easy. We're all on the path, evolving and discovering more of who we are every day. No matter where you are on your journey, I am here for it. Peace Out is for everyone. I'm here for you, your partner, parent, sibling, or BFF, as you peacefully navigate coming out of religion or coming out of the closet. Or if you're like me, both! I created this podcast to give you some encouragement and love through these super challenging times. Whether you personally have questions, are looking for help, or a even a community, I see you. I hear you. You got this! When you feel like you don’t fit in, you fit in right here. Find Sal on Instagram @comingoutcoach

Women and non-binary folx have been conditioned to believe that we need to stay in relationships, jobs, environments & even conversations that don't serve us. We often stay put, choosing to grin and bear it, offering others the benefit of our continued presence, rather than make the choice to end things and start living our dreaming, rather than keep living the dreaming of others. Jessica Chasnoff, Psy.D. (she/her) is a psychologist and coach with nearly two decades of experience walking alongside folx in transition. One day she finally knew she needed to leave her marriage & start her life anew, despite her fears & the protestations of others. She's been ecstatically exploring her growing edges, which includes life as a joyful renunciant of romantic partnerships, choosing instead to partner with her beloved dogs, her community of dear heart friends, various forms of making art, and the amazing flora & fauna found in the Sonoran desert. Wishing to be a companion to more folx as they prioritize their own dreaming, she hopes this podcast will be an aid & a balm to you on your journey home, to yourself. *****The One Day You Finally Knew: For Folx Breaking Away podcast is mixed and produced by Jessica Chasnoff (she/her), a recovering perfectionist who is always on a learning curve.
