Hailey Rose had just graduated from trade school to become a film and theater industry welder when 2020 began. With her intended career grinding to a halt before it even began due to the pandemic, Hailey had to get creative during 2020 to stay afloat. Through it all, she promised herself to always share her joy with others to help spark joy for them, too. Hailey calls herself a “goth girl from the south with an interest in the macabre,” which led her to purchase a hearse after a drunk driver totaled her car. This hearse has put her on the social media map and gained her quite a bit of online fame since 2020.

Hailey shares her 2020 story of hope, stumbling and finding herself on an amazing ferris wheel she never expected when this decade began.
