Welcome to The Power We Hold podcast!
The Power We Hold follows eco-artist and spiritual coach Vanessa Albury's journey to to becoming a better and better ally to people of all our beautiful difference ( BIPOC, LGBTQAI2S+ and fellow non-normative brained and bodied friends, neighbors and strangers) and a better steward of planet Earth, our shared home. We talk with culture makers from all over the world about their work and experiences of life.
The lovely human and brilliant artist, Caleb Williams is my season 1 co-host on this journey because of her vast talents along with her willingness to have uncomfortable conversations with me and our shared belief in our intentions, integrity and love. She moved to LA to live her dreams, but she will make appearances in future seasons.
TPWH is here to support you on your journey into better allyship and Earth stewardship with us.. I understand that people tend to listen to other people who look and sound like they do, so I’ve created this podcast to provide an example of how to navigate uncomfortable and even difficult conversations about race, gender, brains, bodies and the planet.
My intention is for this podcast is to give us all, support for a future of equality and faith that together we can create a better, equal and sustainable world together.
To get there, to understand each other, we must discuss uncomfortable topics and learn how to relate to each other through them.
With deeper understanding of each other, we can truly love each other. Thank you for joining me on this journey exploring the power we hold together!
What does it mean to be an Autistic + ADHD adult today? Join me as I discuss mental health, self-acceptance, adulting and the complexities of neurodivergent life. I hope to feature a number of different guests along the way to bring a little extra spice to the some of the episodes and give you the chance to hear someone else’s voice for a change! So if you’re a fellow ADHD or neurodivergent person, or even if you’re not, I hope you enjoy the constant stream of thoughts from my head that I’m deciding to share with the world. I’ve always dreamed of becoming ‘That girl’ which I’m sure you all will know with ADHD feels impossible, but I’m trying to figure out how to be my own bad b with ADHD. What can I say I’m just a neurospicy gal trying to navigate this neurotypical world. so come along on the ride on my latest hyper fixation and we’ll see how long it lasts xoxo

Ellie (32) and Paige (30) are sisters who were diagnosed late with autism and ADHD (AuDHD). However, the way it manifests in them doesn't look the same. With AuDHD only becoming an official diagnosis in 2013, the lack of research not only resulted in late diagnosis and mental health issues, but also left Ellie and Paige feeling alone and confused. This podcast is a space where Ellie and Paige share their experiences, in the hopes it will help others. It explores the vast manifestations of neurodivergence and emphasises how even sisters with the same condition can look completely different.

Also lasst es uns rocken.
Ab Staffel 5: Kunterbuntes, neurodivergentes (Autismus + ADHS Diagnose) Familienleben

For parents who feel exhausted trying to reconnect with their child but are feeling stuck. Nothing you do seems to be working and you’re ready to dive deep, get vulnerable, and take on a different approach.
Here, on the “The Reflective Parent” podcast, we start by looking at ourselves and begin to make small shifts for change. When we better understand ourselves, we are better equipped to engage with the family and its unique dynamics. Small changes in your own behavior and way of thinking will have a big impact on your family dynamics, your relationship with your partner, and even the behavior of your teen or pre-teen. When you change, they change, and you’ll see them adopt better strategies that align with your family value system.
I’m your host, parent coach Jason Denham. With nearly 20 years of experience in family dynamics, including 14 years living with adolescents and 2 years managing sober living for adults, I’ve worked with diverse personalities and diagnoses in families across the globe. My background spans wilderness therapy, residential treatment, transitional living, foster care, and sober living. Since 2021, I’ve been a parent coach and continue to support families, drawing from my own experiences with recovery, ADHD, and epilepsy. These insights help me provide practical tips and actionable parenting strategies for those families facing similar challenges.
“The Reflective Parent” podcast is a place where parents like you can come to seek community, connection, confidence and competence in deepening your family relationships, increasing your peace, feeling less exhausted, and more motivated to teach.
In this podcast, you can expect to learn about topics like:
- Building a strong relationship with your family;
- Setting boundaries and limits;
- Showing up to teach and guide;
- Screen hygiene or screen misuse;
- How to deal with a lying or disrespectful teen;
- Improving communication with your teen and family;
- Teen drug and screen addiction;
- Teens struggling with Autism, ASD, ODD, or ADHD;
- Teen mental health issues;
- And much more.
Bring your most challenging questions and your most courageous, vulnerable self as you learn with other parents, because together is better and you are not alone.

Raising girls is no joke. Add exceptionalities like giftedness, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning differences, and anxiety into the mix, and you may feel like you're the only one struggling to figure it all out. You're not.
As a mom myself, I know what it's like to help your neurodivergent child navigate the challenges of school, friendships, and family dynamics. Once my kiddo and I finally figured out her unique wiring, life got so much better. But it took almost 15 years, and that’s way too long.
I created this podcast to shorten the learning curve for others and increase awareness and understanding of female neurodiversity. Join me as we learn together how we can help our exceptional girls be seen, supported, and celebrated.
