It's not the things that happen in your life that define you, that create your identity. It's how you talk about those things. That’s the theme behind this podcast. Research shows that the stories you tell have a major influence in how you see yourself and in how others perceive you, so it’s important to be intentional about which stories you share and how you share them. Guests on the podcast share the pivotal moments in their lives and careers, offering keen insights and “ah ha” moments to listeners, while triggering related memories of listeners, opening up opportunities to uncover their own patterns and discover better ways to share their stories. During this podcast, I’m asking you to listen to consider your related stories, and to listen to consider which stories in your life might have impacted you in a similar way. --- Sarah works with executives who know that story sharing makes them more compelling as speakers and leaders, and who want to improve how they connect with audiences, by uncovering the right stories and learning how to share them effectively so they can clearly and actively demonstrate their character, values, and vision.

We bypass simple platitudes and the generic “just love yourself” gibberish, and dive headlong into the challenges pulling us a million different directions. You feel divided, out of sorts, maybe even broken because of past experiences. Here’s the good news, we’ll talk about ways to combat those feelings; things you can do, habits to break or create, and practices to put in place. If you’re looking for gurus, quick fixes, or hacks, this is not the show for you. If you’re looking for fellow sojourners, people on a similar journey, you’ve found your show.

I love to look at how Jesus relates to all kinds of people because His good character and wonderful emotional health perfectly reveal God's good character and amazing emotional health.Jesus said, "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father [God]" - John 14:9If you want to know what God, who is invisible, is like, merely look at how Jesus relates to imperfect people who fail and sin. There is no one in the entire Bible who "has it together" or is morally perfect. There are only those who are drawn by Jesus' goodness and respond to Him more and more and those who are offended and angered by His goodness, compassion and strength and pull back to become haters.Surprisingly, many of the religious leaders of the day (conservative Pharisees and liberal Sadducees) hate Jesus the most. Everyday people, whether laborers, fisherman, learned scholars, tax collectors, party people or prostitutes respond to Jesus' authenticity, honestly, compassion, challenge, instruction and fierceness the most!Jesus is the single most unique human to walk planet earth and He claimed to be God in human form! But the joy is watching Him is relishing is Goodness!

MAN up! Boys don't cry! Stop being a p***y! What, are you gay? Have you ever heard these phrases hurled at you? Have you ever felt like you didn't quite fit into society's masculine expectations and what it means to "be a man"? These masculinity norms do more harm than you realize and hold you back from being your TRUE self and living YOUR best life. Being manly isn't about fitting in with your culture's expectations, it's about standing out with your authenticity. Being emotional, kind and empathetic isn't feminine, it's human. It takes a ton more courage to stand up and say "this is me" than it does to just fall in line and be the man they said you SHOULD be. Join us as we discuss these outdated and damaging expectations by expressing ourselves with honesty, courage and vulnerability. We'll go behind the masks we all wear and show the world what being a man truly is. If you're a man that's been holding yourself back from your truth and your greatness because they say it's not "manly", this podcast is for you. Christian Lopez is a former professional athlete turned confidence coach and motivational speaker who has battled his own fears, failures and insecurities and is on a mission to help you do the same and realize that you're good enough just as you are.

One minute of an experience could shift someone’s whole reality. Those minutes in my life in which I have been changed forever, give me a sense of the rawness of reality. The rawness of our reality is an extremely beautiful concept. It is a collection of the encounters that encompass what it means to be human. Some examples of the rawness of reality are, sweating through a suit jacket, tripping over an untied shoelace, saying “I love you” too soon, looking at the stars, and speaking what is on your mind in the most uncut sense of expression. It is an essential concept in which all of us experience it. It’s the collection of scenarios that are raw, uncut, and real. Once you experience something to often it becomes normal. After it is normal, then it could be mundane and eventually boring. People have to continually shake things up and step out of their comfort zone in order to embrace the rawness of reality. Throughout time people begin to acknowledge that the uncut side of life is what makes life beautiful. The rawness of our reality is a concept that sheds light on what it is to be human.

“It takes a village to raise a child” ~African Proverb ~
Welcome to the Guilbault Girls Show where you will have the opportunity to hear from mothers, fathers, siblings, and individuals themselves about their journey of living with a disability. We also have special guests on to share the many resources that are available to those living with a disability and their families. So, get ready to laugh, smile, cry, maybe even get a little angry when you hear some of these stories of their day-to-day struggles, but let’s not forget their many triumphs.
I know when I was a new mom, and my child was diagnosed with a disability I felt lost and alone and wondered what comes next. I learned from the ones that came before me and I want to be able to continue to share that knowledge and support to others.
As they say it takes a village, and if it weren’t for our village we wouldn’t be where we are today. So, will you help be that village, help us spread awareness, help us change mindsets, help us teach other's to be kind to one another.... well you can do that by simply sharing our show to the masses.
