This month on Yoga Magic we're learning all about FREEDOM. Freedom in our bodies, freedom to experience joy, freedom from diet culture. This week's guest Jasna Burza and I dive into freeing ourselves from societal expectations.
Life coaches, teachers, and self-help authors will throw around the word THRIVE. But what if thriving isn't the actual goal? What if learning to be content and grateful for what you already have is the real goal? Spolier - it is!
Jasna Burza is a an internationally-recognized Life and Business Coach who helps her clients discover what they really want and live their lives according to what they truly value. She's is no stranger to adversity. Jasna experienced extreme hardship growing up in a Bosnian war zone in the 1990s. When she was 9 years old, she was separated from her father and located to a refugee camp. Later in life, she struggled through child loss and infertility. Through it all, Jasna gravitated to the positive and has built the life she always dreamed of. Now she teaches others to do the same.
On this episode Jasna shares her thoughts on why thriving is really learning to be content, sifting through the societal noise to find what we truly want,

She also runs a virtual private practice where she helps clients heal their relationship with food and body through an anti-diet framework.
On this episode, Kirsten and Ashley break down what Intuitive Eating is, how societal pressures to be small and eat in a certain way aren't helping anyone. In fact, it's hurting us. Kirsten breaks down the principles of Intuitive Eating and how we can start to work this shift in mindset into our everyday lives and trust our bodies more.
