What if women were truly comfortable with their true power? With the incredible intelligence, strength and beauty of their bodies?
How would that change the way we see women’s health?
Welcome to Women of the Well.
This podcast has been designed to help women like you reconnect with your bodies and celebrate the magic within them.
It’s hosted by gynaecologists Dr Peta Wright and Dr Thea Bowler, alongside holistic women’s counsellor Sam Lindsay-German.
We’re here because we believe that for too long, women have absorbed the idea that their female-ness is troublesome, messy or inconvenient.
Women have internalised the idea that they don’t have control over their bodies.
They often feel like their bodies let them down or betray them in some way.
And the mainstream medical model has supported and even enforced this paradigm.
We want to help women to see the magic in their bodies again.
To reconnect with how amazing and powerful we are, and to celebrate and support the female body.
We want to guide you back to yourself and support you to understand your body so you can make health decisions that feel right for you.
And we will have some incredible guests join us to dive deeper in to all aspects of women’s health – mind, body and soul.
We hope you love it, and if you do, please subscribe and share this podcast with other women.
