WITH LOVE, DANIELLE - Whose Side Are You On, Anyway? (Asking for Humanity.)

Whose Side Are You On, Anyway? (Asking for Humanity.)

03/14/25 • 15 min

WITH LOVE, DANIELLE

I’ve been wondering how we could each collectively wake the f*ck up to the basics of Love. You too?

So, I have a little story about a monk and a sandwich to share. But first, I’m going to unpack the definition of Common Sense and rant for a minute—because humanity’s Common Sense tank is running on empty, and our collective shadow is louder than ever.

In this episode:

  • What Common Sense really means—and why Common Sense isn’t common
  • The difference between wisdom and opinion (hint: wisdom includes everyone in the solution)
  • Why we’re stuck in polarization—and how to move beyond “us vs. them” thinking
  • The collective shadow is OURS, not theirs. We all scoop from the same pool.

MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:

What if losing something was actually the doorway to more? More clarity. More freedom. More YOU.

This week, we’re talking about how to stay sane in change, why simplicity is a spiritual practice, and how real Vision Building isn’t about clinging to one fixed outcome—it’s about aligning with the Divine and backing it up with Faith (and an ambitious timeline).

In this episode:
  • What a renoviction is—and why it’s hitting my spiritual practice
  • How to hold both resistance and excitement in change—the beliefs that help me stay sane when life shifts my plans
  • What real Vision Building looks like (hint: it’s agile, spirit-backed, and way bigger than a vision board)
  • The James Baldwin quote that’s guiding me through it all

What The Sphinx Told Me

The gratitude is mutual.

You don’t have to go to Cairo to have these revelations... but evidently, I had to. Some of these learnings are deeply personal. All of what I’m attempting to translate is beyond words. There are layers I can’t describe. This feels like going braless at my art opening. But this is me, and this is my art.

This week, I’m sharing what it was like to stand before the Sphinx, chest pressed to stone, receiving an ancient and unexpected healing.

In this episode:

  • What The Sphinx told me about gratitude—it changes everything.
  • A French tour guide unknowingly confirmed my prayers at the Temple of Horus.
  • Why problems need to be brought to the altar to be solved.
  • The answer I received about the heartbreak of the world.
