03/01/22 • 18 min

Why So Cold?
In December of 1985, a 28-year-old nurse named Debbie Wolfe left her shift at the hospital and headed back to her home—a small isolated cabin in the woods just outside of Fayetteville, North Carolina. The next day, Debbie did not show up for work nor answered her phone, which was highly unusual for her. Soon after, a search for the missing woman was launched. The end result of that search still baffles the public almost 40 years later.
