The success of Art and Horse Racing in early May has now evolved into a permanent fine art gallery with a website www.artandhorseracing.com A further exhibition is scheduled during National Racehorse Week (September 9th-17th) www.nationalracehorseweek.uk . The gallery remains open by appointment daily. The gallery will also be open on Sunday 24 September during the Newmarket Henry Cecil Open Weekend. On the racing front Ilka talks frankly about her mare Miss Bella Brand’s trip to Hannover to run in a listed race on 29 May. In addition, Ilka updates us on the Vantage Point Racing club horses Kingwell and Just Once. She also reveals how listeners can get the chance to name Just Once’s new foal. The January episode starts with news of a win for the stable at Chelmsford on 21 January by the 4-year-old Once Adaay. Ilka gives her reaction to the win and the current form of her runners at Saint Wendred’s. Stable jockey George Wood joins us to report on the consistent form of Vantage Point Racing Club horse Kingwell. Ilka updates us on the progress of Just Once and her new colt foal. Just Once is now back in training while the foal is progressing well in France.
