The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division described the investigation as complex, but did not release any additional information about the case. Authorities said Bobo was last seen in the Chula Vista area.

Tuesday, February 9, 1999. - Ashley Ouellette gets permission from her parents to spend the night at the home of a friend. Sometime around 10 p.m. she leaves her friend’s house. She catches a ride from a boy who drives her to the home of another friend. A few hours after arriving at this other house she is found dead in the road. This case is still unsolved and approaching the dreaded 25th anniversary of that fateful night.
