Trail Running Women - E95 Natalie: A 3:05 marathon and not done yet

E95 Natalie: A 3:05 marathon and not done yet

07/02/20 • 75 min

Trail Running Women
Natalie's mindset blew me away. There is no question she is a gifted runner, but her ability to dig deeper and run faster is a coaches dream. She crossed the finish line of a marathon in 3 hours 5 minutes, and set her sights on a OTQ. We chat about how the mom of 3 and full time running coach juggles the demands of life while training for her own big goals. We also discuss the Black Lives Matter movement and she offers ideas to help create a more inclusive and diverse running community. More from Nat @natrunsfar or http://www.natrunsfar.com

E94 Tara: Packs a big punch

Tara is a Vancouver based runner with a love for bacon, beer, and the occasional mountain run in a banana or taco costume. She’s run 40 ultra-races including the classics like UTMB and Fat Dog, and she’s earned a spot on the podium at many races across the Pacific Northwest. More than races, Tara’s main reason for trail running is for the adventure and exploring beautiful mountains. She has completed longer self-supported adventure runs, and has set some female fastest known times on some of the most rugged routes around the Coast Mountains with her friend Alicia.
