This is the story of SSG (RET) Daniel Lister. He shares his story of service, survival, sacrifice and resilience.
Warning, graphic details of war and extreme injuries.
June 2, 2010 is the day he cheated death and a new chapter began. His play by play recount of that day is intense and captivating. It will redefine a bad day at work for you forever. Its pretty raw and real. We discuss his background, how he ended up in the Army. The challenge of being a warrior and being deployed and coming home. Then we talk about a day that changed his life forever and the twisted complex journey it took him. He shares his thoughts on being a veteran and how best to support our veterans. I found myself saying "Wow" a lot during this episode. He shares his struggle with a morale dilemma that made me stop and think.
