John Rehrer currently lives in North Carolina with his wife Stephanie and their daughter Caroline. John is a runner who has complete multiple marathons including several multi-day races. Recently he has become a Certified Primal Health Coach to better help people live healthier lives by teaching ancestral health practices including fasting, fitness, nutrition and lifestyle. John’s focus for health comes from losing his father, John Sr., in 2012 from COPD and poor metabolic health. Since 2012 John has focused on improving his own health and helping others be healthier so they can live fuller lives.

After serving the St. Louis Cardinals as their Medical and Rehabilitation Coordinator, Dr. David Meyer PT, DPT wrote “Injured to Elite: A Guide to Empowering Yourself to Transform Your Life After Injury”, to empower the world with a newfound mental approach to physical rehab. As a Sports Performance-oriented Physical Therapist, he graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University. After completing an advanced sports residency training program at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, he served as the Medical and Rehabilitation Coordinator for the St. Louis Cardinals for three years from 2015 through the 2017 season. This was a dream of his that came to fruition after playing baseball throughout his entire life into the collegiate level. During his time working for the Cardinals, he discovered a new appreciation for the psychological implications of sports rehabilitation after seeing the profound impact it had on players and began developing a comprehensive approach to integrating mental skills and strategies into the physical rehabilitation process. While now serving as an advocate for athletes going through adversity and working towards advanced credentials with the Association of Applied Sports Psychology, as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, his mission has become to “Empower those facing physical challenges to transform their lives through an optimal state of body, mind, and spirit.” Currently, he resides in New York with his soon-to-be wife (the wedding was delayed by COVID).

Jennifer Sienes holds a bachelor's in psychology and a master's in education, but discovered life-experience is the best teacher. She loves Jesus, romance and writing--and puts it altogether in inspirational contemporary fiction. Her daughter's TBI and brother's suicide inspired two of her three novels. Although fiction writing is her real love, she's had several non-fiction pieces published in anthologies--two in Chicken Soup for the Soul. She has two grown children and one very spoiled Maltese. California born and raised, she recently took a step of faith with her real-life hero and relocated to Tennessee.

WHITNEY JORDAN was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jordan discovered her love of film at a young age. The movie JFK, directed by Oliver Stone, was one of the many movies filmed at her home and she played with the likes of Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones in her backyard. At the age of ten, Jordan sang at Carnegie Hall in New York City and St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome as a member of the New Orleans Children’s Chorus.

While she was attending The Asheville School in North Carolina, she declared she would settle in Los Angeles after college. At seventeen, she signed with her first talent agent in New York City. Following success in print work, she studied film production at University of California Los Angeles and screenplay writing taught by Ted Baehr, founder and C.E.O. of Movieguide®. After a semester in Spain and receiving a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Mary Washington, Jordan moved to L.A. where for three years she apprenticed under acting coach Stephen Book.

She moved back to New Orleans after living in LA to found the Crown and Shield foundation with utilizes the power of storytelling to educate and inspire kids. Media is called a super peer because of the level of influence it has on youth, so I believed it was time to start using that for good. We created content for kids by kids and for kids by professionals. But it’s our business structure that really sets us apart from other nonprofits.
