The Miami Guide sat down with Alyx van der Vorm founder and CEO of Clyx, to talk about how her solution makes it easier and faster for you to do the things you love with the people that matter most.

Alyx van der Vorm is the founder of Clyx, a Miami startup that makes it easy for people to come together and connect with others who share similar interests. Clyx is a network that streamlines meet-ups with friends and facilitates the discovery of new places and events, centralizing all of your social plans into one, simple app.
Alyx is a John Harvard Scholar who majored in neuroscience whose background led to the creation of Clyx. Her keen understanding of the mind and her acute observations of society helped her see a need for a way for people to more easily reconnect and plan out their everyday lives. Alyx created Clyx as a space where people could come together, either with existing friends, or with new people who share similar interests.
After making a big splash during Miami Tech Month, Alyx and her team are continuing to test market the concept in Miami before expanding into additional markets later this year.
