We all have an understanding of budgeting for money, but very few of us think about budgeting our energy. As a result, we are seeing more people experiencing burn out or becoming reliant on energy drinks and caffeine just to make it through the day. It doesn't have to be that way.
In this episode, we explain the thought process of energy budget as well as looking at opportunity cost as the two are related. In the same way that people will underestimate the energy required for their day, people often don't understand the opportunity cost of saying yes to things. Over commitment can destroy excellence in the same way that carelessness can.
