Back for another episode, this week, I dive into my big struggles when I travel, the importance of having structure in your life, and three of the lowest-hanging fruits anyone can work on today to improve their health.
Traveling for me is a huge struggle. I do so well when I'm home and can stick to my routine, but once you take me out of my routine, I truly struggle, and it's probably for the same reasons you struggle on weekends when you do well during the week. I talk all about that and what you can do to combat it. I also talked about the 3 low-hanging fruits I work on with almost every new client and how you can apply them to see an almost immediate improvement in your health.
Give this episode a listen to find out what those low-hanging fruits are and how you can apply them to your life!
As always, subscribe if you haven't already, and I would really appreciate it if you rate this episode and share it with a friend. If you learned something, I'm willing to bet you know someone else who would, too.

Learning To Love Food (Michelle's Story)
Welcome back to yet another episode of the Fit To Be Fierce Podcast. These are up before the sun every Fit To Be Fierce Friday, so don’t forget to subscribe to get access to this free content every single week. This is where I bring my A-game, so if you want to see my best stuff and get it for free, you know what to do.
In this episode, I brought on my client and great friend, Michelle Miramontes (Instagram: @mitchyym), to showcase her awesome journey so far. Suffering from weight issues at a young age, she was presented with a decision to make at just 21 years old--to have weight loss surgery or not.
For many, the efforts stop there, and they gain the weight back after, but Michelle said this wasn’t going to happen to her. Just over 6 months after a successful bariatric surgery, Michelle hired me to help improve her relationship with food, keep the weight off, and get some confidence for the first time in her life.
She came to me broken, and her relationship with food was very poor. She deprived herself of her favorite foods, like tacos, because the “diets” she continued to try didn’t allow them and villified her when she’d eat them. Three weeks into coaching, she had already found food freedom, and 6 months later, her list of accomplishments is certainly something to write home about. We’ve since become great friends, communicating daily, and we both know we can “taco bout” anything with each other.
Don’t take it from me though--give this a listen and hear from her just how the journey has been, what some of her struggles have been and how she’s overcome them, and what she’d tell someone on day 1 of their own journey.
If her story inspires you in any way, give her a follow, let her know what you think, and SHARE this episode with a friend! She’s got an inspiring journey, and I’m confident that listening to this episode will instill some inspiration in anyone who’s struggling to get their footing on this journey.
If you enjoyed this episode, please RATE and leave a REVIEW! The ratings are super important and help this show get seen more in searches, basically saying "Hey, people are actually listening to this." Your support is greatly appreciated!

Overcoming Your Past Conditioning with Jenn Kennedy
Welcome back to another episode of the Fit To Be Fierce Podcast! In this episode, I brought my great friend, one of my closest friends and a nutrition coach I look up to a lot, Jenn Kennedy (IG: @jennkennedynutrition), onto the show.
Jenn and I have been friends for a while, and we actually had the same business coach for some time.Jenn is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to nutrition, mindset, and connecting the two to drive outcomes.
She primarily coaches women and helps them overcome restrictive eating, past conditioning, and a myriad of other struggles. Having dealt with her own struggles regarding her mindset and weight, beginning at such a young age, she brings a level of expertise that everyone can learn from.
In this episode, Jenn dove into her personal story and how it shaped her into the badass woman she is today, and specifically the past conditioning she realized she had to overcome to be the version of herself she wanted to become. We talked all about how past conditioning shapes us into the adults we become, and most importantly, she gave specific action items you can use today to create awareness around your own past conditioning and disassociate yourself from it.
Give Jenn a follow on IG (@jennkennedynutrition), and check out her podcast, The Jenn Kennedy Show, where she talks all things nutrition and mindset and delivers a ton of expertise in a way you can make sense of.
As always, rate this episode, hit “Subscribe” if you haven’t already, and share this with a friend, if you learned something!
