If you've experienced this massive change, you may be feeling a mix of joy, anxiety and frustration as you navigate this new role - especially if you are still in the parent role as well.
In this episode of "The Family Business with The Alessis," Mary and Steve Alessi share their experiences and insights on transitioning from parenting to becoming grandparents - all while continuing to guide their adult kids.
You'll learn about blessings and challenges that come with grandparenthood, the importance of passing down the family legacy, and the joy of being able to enjoy your grandchildren without the pressure of being disciplinarians.
If you've struggled to make the switch being less hands on with your adult kids, you'll learn how to provide trust and support for your children's parenting abilities as the Alessis offer advice on how to navigate the grandparenting journey.

It's one thing to face a major life struggle as an adult - it's another to raise your children well while you face it.
When you face your greatest challenges, your children also deal with those challenges from their own perspective. And your example will either help them, or hold them back when they face their own major obstacles in life.
In this powerful episode, Chris Alessi and Stephanie Muiña turn the tables and interview their father, host Steve Alessi, and share the lessons they learned from him as he overcame his near-death experience from a widowmaker heart attack.
You'll hear never-before-shared moments that helped shape this family and their legacy - moments that will help you teach your children to persevere and overcome their own obstacles, no matter when they appear.
You can discover more of these powerful insights in Steve Alessi's upcoming book, "Forty Two: A Guide to Finishing Well When You Thought You Were Finished".

With personal reflections and direct accounts from the first responders who were there on that pivotal night, the Alessis share the emotions, thoughts and realities they faced in the aftermath.
You'll discover the powerful lessons you need to apply to overcome your own "42" moment, when it seems your world has been shaken and you don't know how to recover from the shock of a tragic or unexpected event.
This account and the lessons you'll hear in this episode by Steve Alessi will be the topic of his new book, "42: How to Finish Well When You Thought You Were Finished", to be released in 2023 on paperback, audiobook and hardcover.
