The best podcasts for Christian Families

Who am I?

I'm a musician, podcast producer, author and creative coach who loves to help creatives fulfill their God-given calling. My family is my most important ministry and I've been married to my wife for over 27 years, and we have three now-grown kids. As a podcaster, I've had my most enjoyable years building communities of listeners around The God and Gigs Show and my pastor's podcast, The Family Business with The Alessis. From leaving the school system to become a homeschool dad, to joining my current church so that my kids could have better, more Godly influences, I've always placed the development of my children first - spiritually, emotionally and relationally. Thankfully my pastors Steve and Mary Alessi feel the same, and have created a podcast that addresses all the issues that face parents - keeping marriage as a priority, communication, etc - all learned while raising four children at the same time they were building their church. Become a producer of this show gives me the opportunity to help spread the powerful messages the Alessis have lived out as authentic Christians, authentic parents, and strong Godly leaders.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

“The Family Business with The Alessis'' shows parents how to build stronger, happier families by saying the things that pastors can't say on Sundays. In each episode, Steve and Mary Alessi, 2nd generation pastors, along with their four adult children and two in-law kids who work with and for them in their church - Christopher and Richelle Alessi, Stephanie and Christopher Muiña, Lauren and Gabrielle - open up about real-life issues that are rarely discussed in Sunday morning service. From sharing common, everyday struggles of parenting and marriage, to dealing with the tough topics facing our culture today, these authentic and transparent discussions cast new insight on what family is all about. The Alessis are dedicated to helping families - even as their family continues to grow and change.
