Episode 128: Suffering, Hope & Parenting with Dr. Curt Thompson
Raising Boys & Girls
08/31/23 • 41 min
You likely know Dr. Curt Thompson from his ground-breaking work in The Anatomy of the Soul, The Soul of Shame and The Soul of Desire. We were honored to sit down in conversation with him to talk about his newest book, The Deepest Place: Suffering and the Formation of Hope.
We shared a rich conversation around what suffering and hope look like in the context of parenting. Dr. Thompson has worked at the intersection of neuroscience and Christian spiritual growth for decades. He was kind enough to share parts of his own story, and what he has learned through the journey of parenting himself. Enjoy this conversation with Dr. Curt Thompson.
