It was a pleasure to interview Michael Meyer, an author and Fulbright Scholar. He has published three critically acclaimed books: The Last Days of Old Beijing, In Manchuria, and The Road to Sleeping Dragon. His newest book, which we will be discussing today is called: Benjamin Franklin’s Last Bet: The Favorite Founder's Divisive Death, Enduring Afterlife, and Blueprint for American Prosperity

Benjamin Franklin is one of the most influential people in the history of America. Michael discusses the details and contents of his book, which were all about Franklin’s last will. We also talked about tradespeople and how much they mattered to him. Michael also shares with us how and why Franklin left money for Philadelphia and Boston and how there are lawsuits revolving around the will.
