The ATP Project - Saffron - The Herb of the Century
play

11/22/22 • 46 min

This week Jeff and Steve dive into the little know benefits of Saffron and how it can positively affect multiple systems within the body allowing you to feel good, increase muscle performance, and reaction time, and perform better in the bedroom while also being good for your heart and cardiovascular system. Saffron is more than a fancy spice used to flavour rice, the benefits that the guys discuss in this episode convince Jeff that it is on the same level as Gynostemma and could be the herb of the century! Just 30mg of Saffron has been shown to be equally as effective as a common antidepressant while helping to increase libido, the opposite of decreasing libido which is a common side effect of most anti-depressants. Saffron is also ergogenic and increases biogenesis making you stronger and faster! Saffron could increase your muscle force strength by 10.1% and give you 15% faster visual and audio reaction times. So, are there any negatives to adding Saffron into your daily rotation??? Listen in to find out more. FAQ’s this week cover intestinal permeability/leaky gut and a brief overview of sleep and sleep hygiene, with some very interesting answers from Steve.
