Spokespoerson for Halt the Assault
From Halt the Assaults Website: About UsThe Free Enterprise Alliance is leading the campaign to Halt the Assault on America’s free enterprise system. The Free Enterprise Alliance is the action arm for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and other advocates of limited government, open and fair (and intense) competition, and the economically sound principles upon which America was built. At the heart of the Free Enterprise Alliance’s mission is the belief that while we need government for common sense regulations, the scales have tipped too far in favor of government intrusion and its advocates. The Free Enterprise Alliance believes small business and entrepreneurs grow jobs and our economy, not union bosses and federal bureaucrats. The Free Enterprise Alliance was originally founded by the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. to advocate for the voice of small business as well as open and fair competition. Since its inception, it has fought for these goals through research, outreach, and national TV, radio, and billboard campaigns. The Free Enterprise Alliance launched the Halt The Assault campaign in 2010 to give voice to Americans’ frustration over the attack on long-held values of fair play, looking out for the little guy, and the realization that capitalism is a good thing. ABC is a national trade association representing 25,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms in 77 chapters across the United States. ABC’s membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry. Halt The Assault Bloggers Chris Singerling is the director of the Free Enterprise Alliance. He has more than 10 years in political expertise and activism. He is an ardent defender of free markets, limited government, and the Michigan State Spartans. David Ashinoff is manager of the Free Enterprise Alliance, where he works on political fundraising and issue advocacy projects. Prior to joining FEA, David worked at the Republican Governors Association. David graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in Government. Brooke Frankenfield currently serves as the Legislative Assistant for Associated Builders & Contractors in Arlington, VA, working on federal labor policy and coordinating the ABC Grassroots committee as well as all ABC National Grassroots efforts. Brooke graduated from Florida State University with degrees in Political Science and History. Sean Thurman currently serves as Manager of Regulatory Affairs for ABC, where he is responsible for the association’s federal agency relations and regulatory advocacy efforts. He is involved in a range of issues, including labor relations, safety and health, environmental protection and procurement, and is an outspoken defender of small business concerns. Sean graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in political science. David Nace is an owner of an ABC member construction company. In addition, he writes articles on free markets and limited government for Liberty Features and other publications. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with an undergraduate degree in Engineering and graduate degree in Business Administration.
