Research continuously shows that being physically active can thwart the development of diseases and improve one’s overall health and well-being. On the other hand, a sedentary lifestyle will cause the opposite and even reduce one’s mortality.
So, in this episode, I provide an overview of the benefits of exercising and provide ‘tips’, some with researched references, on how to become physically active or maintain a physically active lifestyle. I also provide links to free resources to help you on your quest for a healthier, 'fitter' lifestyle.

Some Tips on How to Celebrate the Christmas Holiday, Healthily!

Christmas is an annual celebration which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ and is observed primarily on the 25th day of December in most parts of the world. However, some countries celebrate it on January 6th and 7th.
Reports contend that more than two (2) billion people around the world celebrate and recognize the day by observing it with traditions as well as practices that are both religious and secular.
While some people find it one of the most exciting times of the year, others dread the season or experience loneliness due to several factors. As such, in this episode, I provide five (5) tidbits on how we can enjoy the season, including where loneliness is concerned for our overall health and well-being.

Minerals are essential to our diet like vitamins, as they help in the proper functioning and health of our bodies. Therefore, to be deficient in one, can lead to the depletion of another which can further lead to the development of chronic diseases.
