Why Minerals?
11/28/24 • 24 min
In this podcast, 'Why Minerals?' we’ll explore minerals, including how they are categorized, their benefits to the body and some of the foods you can find them in.
Minerals are essential to our diet like vitamins, as they help in the proper functioning and health of our bodies. Vitamins and minerals work together in performing all the metabolic and enzymatic functions of the body. Therefore, to be deficient in one, can lead to the depletion of another which can further lead to the development of chronic diseases.
So here, I break down these nutrients as best as possible and provide additional takeaways, especially the free mineral guide, which you can download and have for reference when needed.
Main Discussion Points:
- Minerals overview – going through all Fifteen (15) Minerals and their respective categories (Macro and Micro).
- Provide details of the benefits of the minerals discussed and how they benefit the body (what do they do?).
- Provide a summary of the different minerals and some of the foods you can find them in.
- An overall summary of the topic, incorporating the minerals, benefits and foods you can find them in.
