FOUNDER’S BIO AND MISSION French-born founder, Roxana, developed contact dermatitis in 2019 from US versions of products she used to buy back in France. She spent a decade advertising beauty brands for a living, yet found herself lost and confused. When visiting a dermatologist didn’t make sense financially, she eventually found-out both product versions had different formulas, among other things. Not only do pre mixed products not work (the average bottled skincare loses 50% of efficacy in just 60 days) — they are also killing the planet (120B+ Packaging waste is produced yearly). To solve this, she was convinced she had to reinvent how skincare is created and experienced. In 2020, she created Onélogy with a simple mission: deliver the highest level of efficacy for all skin types — without compromise on sustainability or price.
“B.S claims, fear-tactics and lack of fact-checking within the industry did not sit right with me — from a consumer and professional perspective. More than ever, I was convinced I needed less, more efficient products that were kind to the Earth and true to their words. I founded Onélogy to write a more truthful story from beginning to end — starting by reinventing how products are created and experienced. Through evidence-based and transparent practices, we create skincare that brings confidence to those who use it, with the conviction that skin health can be delivered without fear.”

Hence AIRE represents the activation of this powerful anti-aging pathway. Inducing this key anti-aging pathway results in the transcription and translation of protective genes that play a major role in the anti-aging process. Activation of the AIRE pathway protects skin cells from oxidative stress which remains one of the best etiologies to explain the mechanism of aging.
Dr. Kappel is a board certified, and double fellowship trained Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon with an active practice in Newport Beach California. She has over 15 years of experience in practicing Dermatology and studying the skin. She has a Medical Degree from UC Irvine and completed her residency in Dermatology at UCLA. Upon completing her residency, she joined the full-time faculty at UCLA as a Clinical Instructor and Professor in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She then went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Dermatologic Surgery at UC Davis and Cosmetic Dermatology at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Northern California with world-renowned expert, Dr. Suzanne Kilmer. After fellowship, she was appointed the Director of Dermatologic Surgery at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Northern California where she has remained active in clinical trials and has been on the forefront of the latest advances in aesthetics and dermatology.
