003: Portrait of a Creating Maven | Margaret Kamara
03/04/21 • 39 min
In this episode, you’ll see that one of the great benefits of creating is the many ways you can serve the world around you.
My guest does this by putting smiles on people’s faces with her delicious food.
Margaret Kamara is the Founder of District Chop Bar, a West Africa fusion concept based in Washington DC. District Chop Bar offers catering services, meal preps, and wholesale products. I’ve known Margaret for years! She’s someone whose ability to take consistent action in creating with her gifts so they become a reality serves as an absolute inspiration to me. And she’s here today to talk to us.
She’s the person who comes to mind when I ask myself “who do I know out here who is the portrait of a creating maven”. That would be Margaret.
- We talk about the impact that tapping into her gifts to create has had on her community
- We talk about what she’s looking to create next
- And We also talk about how creating can still be a powerful tool and experience for someone who doesn’t intend to extend themselves beyond their 9-5
