Episode 113: The Loveland Frogmen & Ohio Cryptid Encounters

Well known in Ohio folklore, there are humanoid frog-like creatures that stand at about 4 feet or 1.2 meters tall. According to local legend, they were first spotted around 70 years ago, in May 1955. Sightings by locals led to numerous police reports and would later inspire muscles, books, and more recently, even humorous horror found footage. In 2023, this creature even became the city's mascot. But were these sightings nothing more than a hoax? Was it a case of mistaken identity? Or was it an undiscovered creature? A creature from another dimension? This is the story of the Loveland Frogmen.
In the second half of the episode, Kaydra also shares several other alleged cryptid encounters from Ohio including tales of Mothman and Dogman sightings.
