030: But GIRL, I HATE my Job
Your career is a huge part of your life, and when it doesn’t leave you feeling fulfilled and satisfied, it can have a pretty big negative impact on your overall outlook and attitude.
If your position truly has you clenching your fists and wanting to bash your head against a wall every single day, it’s probably smart to start looking for something else. Lets be real. BUT- let’s face it—we don’t all have the luxury to pack up our desks and wave goodbye to our supervisors whenever the going gets a little tough.

In this podcast, I share my story about a job I HATED and give you five tips to get through it.

032: Business isn't PERSONAL, it's EMOTIONAL with Jessica McKinley
"Business isn't personal, but it's emotional."
That's basically the foundation of what Jessica McKinley is building her business and brand around. Women that she works with are all smart, ambitious female entrepreneurs with no strategy for how to scale their business using positive emotions and no tools for taking action through the negative ones.
College admissions boards are now measuring EQ, and not just IQ. Positive Psychology & Happiness Science experts are now being hired by Fortune 500 execs. But "feelings" is still a dirty word in business (especially if you're a woman).
And while Brene Brown is pioneering the importance of addressing shame in the workplace, Jessican's mission is to make "Business isn't Personal, it's emotional" a headline in 2020 by giving companies, employees and business owners a model for using their emotions to their advantage...... without ever having to involve HR.
Jessica McKinley is a Happiness Scientist and Life Coach for Entrepreneurs who need help getting out of their own way. She is a single mom who cares equal parts about raising her son bilingual as she does raising him knowing it's ok to be silly and get messy. She's a singer, a speaker, a children's book author, a dirty cross-stitcher, a world-traveler, and host of the What's Happyning Podcast-- and most importantly, a Steelers fan.
