In this series we will be exploring all aspects of mental health looking at addictions, suicide, PTSD, wellbeing, cancer, bereavement, physical and mental wellbeing, care for the carer, self preservation, relationships and any other factors around the subject.
We will look at what help is out there and what agencies you can call upon for help, where to turn too, what groups are out there, peer groups, professional help and where to find it, charities and how to seek their help and much much more.
Heather has lived an atypical life.
She's hitchhiked across the country, traveled and worked in a carnival for a season, roamed New York City with street people, explored (and taught) alternative lifestyles, and more.
All of her experiences thus far have led her to the belief that boundaries are the key to not only saving ourselves, but our relationships.
She's a big fan of amazing people enjoying love, sex, and romance in happy and functional lives (whatever that might look like from human to human), which is why she's thrilled to share her experience and knowledge of boundaries with you! ❤️

The Tim Heale Podcasts S3 E177 Nicole Laurent
Nicole Laurent is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington. She graduated from Argosy University with a MA in Clinical Psychology in 2007 and has provided psychotherapy for 15+ years in private practice. She completed post-graduate training in Nutrition and Integrative Health from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Nicole assists patients in using Ketogenic Diets for mental illness and neurological disorders as an adjunct to psychotherapy. She also works to educate the public regarding ketogenic diets with her blog (mentalhealthketo.com), social media platforms, and podcasts, and she develops online programs to increase public accessibility to metabolic and nutritional therapies. She is a Metabolic Mind Award recipient (2022), awarded by the Baszucki Brain Research Fund and the Milken Institute for her efforts in public education regarding the use and adoption of ketogenic diets for serious mental illness
I just want people to know about this treatment option for mental health and cognitive symptoms. I accomplish this through podcasts and my blog (http://www.mentalhealthketo.com). I am a recipient of the Metabolic Mind Award 2022 (awarded by the Milken Institute of Philanthropy and the Baszucki Brain Research Foundation). I have an online program in which I help people transition to ketogenic diets to treat neurological symptoms in an effort to increase accessibility to this evidence-based treatment.
