Nerd Rejects

Hey all and welcome to the Nerd Rejects podcast! Gasper, John and Ty talk about everything that one can feel nerdy about in this day and age, where this episode revolves around how sex can potentially be a sales point within the comic book and manga industry. The trio ends up connecting that that idea to what occurs in comic book movies as well. A controversy occurred recently on the cover of a My Hero Academia manga cover and within Batman: Damned #1 in recent years, where the question that comes to mind relates to, "Were these attempts for attention or included within the storyline somehow?". This is a big topic within the media world today, especially in comparing how sex sells between different genders.

Following that, the hosts delve into John's favorite nerdy quote from the DC animated movie universe and they end up comparing the superheroes and villains between the two large comic book superpower publishers. With the addition of more video game news and talk about what's to come in that nerddom, there's more to come with what the three have to talk about. **There's also a big announcement about the future of the podcast towards the end of the episode! Stay tuned and be on the lookout for more from this podcast sooner than later!
