Who am I?
We're a podcast that loves to talk about anything interesting and nerdy! With that, we also thoroughly leading with respect and inclusiveness as well. We talk about everything from wrestling, to comic books, to movies and art. We certainly have quite a bit of passion for wrestling, comics, and gaming for sure. When we talk about those topics, we thoroughly enjoy taking time to highlight the who, what, when, where, why as being the reason a listener or listeners keep listening to nerdy content is a goal for us! Our end-goal is to interview and talk with others in order to not only gain a greater understanding of nerddom, but to also help get more information and nerdy projects in front of more eyes! If there's a nerdy topic, we're on it and not afraid to address it! It's our motivation that we be completely transparent and raw, so that the audience knows who we are without altering our appearance to them in any way. In the end, we're nerdy and we want to talk with anyone that may even consider themselves 1% nerdy. Our ultimate goal is to have everyone realize that they're nerdy in some way, shape, or form! What our podcast talks about encompasses quite a bit of what Gasper and Ty are passionate about! Gasper and Ty were in the same basic training class in the U.S. Army in 2011, so the two hosts have been talking about creating such a nerdy podcast at some point ever since! Gasper and Ty really enjoy talking on movies, wrestling, comic books, shows, gaming, and anything anyone can be considered a nerd for! We want to hold reasons to be nerdy very high! Gasper and Ty have been nerdy for decades and can talk wrestling, comic books, movies, and shows (at the very least) for hours! Luckily, you get about an hour of that content in each episode! One of the podcast's goals is to highlight as much of nerddom as we can, not to shove it in people's faces, and to highlight two things: that our podcast is nerdy as heck and that it's okay to be/feel nerdy!
My Show
What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
Our podcast is all about realizing how we're nerdy, what we're nerdy about, and finding the inner-nerd in all of us! With that, we talk about top nerdy news that interests us the most, where we have guests on occasionally to interview or simply just share conversation with about their nerdy interests or obsessions! From that, you can guess that this playlist is full of very nerdy topics and they work their magic in each episode to put the best content out for their listeners! Please take note that this playlist doesn't contain all of our favorites, as we certainly have many! We believe there are MANY great podcasts out there and the podcast community has just been so nice, so why not give back?!
What is my podcast playlist about?
Our podcast playlist is all about the hosts being extremely comfortable with why they're nerdy about their topics and how they express their interests/topics. The list exemplifies those podcasts that are inclusive and informative in ways that encompass a wide audience, where anyone can get sucked in and have their inner-nerd tickled a bit! The Nerd Rejects podcast also love to have humor be a huge focus in getting our information out to the masses, so Ty and Gasper are both really attracted to comedy as well! If you can be a big nerd about anything AND be funny, as well as respectful, we'll support that mission!
1. Dudesy
Why this podcast?
Will and Chad are both fantastically hilarious and find ways to have fun with nearly every topic. Both hosts supposedly have an AI that's has access to a bunch of their personal information and they let the AI determine what topical nature each episode will encompass. From a comedy and tech standpoint, that's a really cool idea! Add the fact that you have two close friends, of whom are crazy funny, hosting the podcast and you have sheer entertainment in each episode! We both honestly CANNOT get enough!

2. Comic Book Couples Counseling Podcast
Why this podcast?
I've (Ty) been listening to this podcast since the beginning and I cannot get enough of this show! Brad and Lisa are a godsend to the comic book community, as they always seem to do their darndest to venture into/through relationships within comic books. To them, they venture throughout the history of comic books, from the beginnings of their time to more modern books! This is a great, wholesome podcast and as a nerdy married man, it's easy to see that Brad and Lisa have something special going on with their work! With how cool and interesting their podcast is, it still feels underrated in the podcasting community. With that in mind, their X/Twitter presence is so fun to watch and their adventures are exciting to follow! This podcast is probably one of the most well-rounded shows I've ever heard!

3. Are You Garbage? Comedy Podcast
Why this podcast?
The "Are you garbage?" podcast features a really interesting and attention-grabbing mission, and that's to find out whether each week's guest is "garbage", according to the hosts. The show is headlined by two superb comedians, so the comedic history to the show makes the entertainment and enjoyment factors skyrocket! The barest bottom line here is that it's so interesting to find out why each guest is considered "garbage", where it's all in good fun of course! The hilarity in each episode is top-tier and can be surprising at times! If you love comedy and want to venture into a newer comedy presence, at least try this show just to find out what guests are garbage and why! It's so fun!!!!

Kevin Ryan & H. Foley

Comedians H. Foley and Kevin Ryan are self proclaimed GARBAGE. Each week a guest gets put to the test to determine if they are in fact ”GARBAGE” as well. It’s like a trashy comedy game show. Do you steal the shampoo from hotels? Own a George Forman Grill? Ever worn JNCO Jeans? You’re Garbage.

4. We're Here to Help
Why this podcast?
The "We're Here to Help" podcast is another fun listen with each episode! Jake Johnson is a name that most know from New Girl and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, as well as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. His partner in crime here Jake's known for 15+ years where the experience they have with each other really propels each episode into hilarity! The mission of the show really grabs you, as both hosts give those calling into their podcast advice on how to deal with their issues. The issues can be utterly serious and also extremely funny, where all kinds of problems/barriers are brought their way. The hosts give their best advice and normally have an extra guest to help out as well! I mean, the first episode finds the hosts giving a caller advice on how to bolster the caller's Dungeons & Dragons character so that the caller can have clout in their gaming group. That alone sounds fun and more than interesting! As they bring many big-named guests on to the show, the episodes just get better and better. It's hard not to find reasons to enjoy each episode here, so kudos to the show and hosts!

Jake Johnson (New Girl, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) and Gareth Reynolds (The Dollop) don't feel qualified to give strangers good advice. Most of their friendship over the last 15 years has been based around dumb bits, but they do (for better or worse) want to try to help people out. Like your friendly local bartender or your tipsy uncle at a family gathering, Jake and Gareth are on the caller's side and trying to help. Each episode, the guys make several pitches to callers (whose questions range from trivial to serious) with their best attempts of advice. They can't promise their suggestions will be perfect, but it will be the best they've got. Jake and Gareth also occasionally bring on a friend, peer or even an expert to help along the way. 5. Florida Men on Florida Man
Why this podcast?
This is a show that talks about what essentially makes the headlines having directly to deal with "Florida Man..." or "Florida Woman" and what crazy things are mentioned that those people do! This is a very underrated podcast and they tend to cover very recent and historical events in Florida Man/Woman headlines, so the craziness regarding topical nature can seem to have no ceiling too, which is fun and most interesting for sure! The hosts really pour themselves into the podcast and it shows, as they really put themselves directly into the show, personality(ies) and all!
