Naturally Sensitive - Creating Your Authentic Rhythm
play

06/17/22 • 0 min

Episode 37 Season 2

Living outside of your true nature, living inauthentically, is the cause of dis-ease and chronic blocks. Jessi breaks this down and shares from her own personal and professional experience what works and what doesn’t. You’ll also get a glimpse into the up-and-coming release of the Authentic Calm Method. You will step away with options to uncover and return to your authentic rhythm. The place where healing on all levels naturally occurs, where you can ultimately move through life with ease.

  1. What it means to live authenticity & what manifests when we reject our natural and true rhythm. [00:06:34]
  2. How we can reframe the conditioning we have received throughout life so that we can return to a place of authenticity. [00:15:06]
  3. Meditative prompt with Jessi to initiate your authentic rhythm. [00:43:00]

“Authenticity is the act of living as you are created to be. It's that simple. It's a continuous journey of uncovering all that you are as much as you can in this lifetime.” - Jessi Michel Agadoni

“Most of us move through life in a manner that matches what we've been told we should do. One of the biggest journeys we can go on is to learn and understand how we would navigate life with no conditioning.” - Jessi Michel Agadoni

“You have to create boundaries including intentionally choosing an inner circle of people around you that won’t influence you towards a life that's not in alignment with who you're meant to be. You can usually feel when people are a good fit or not by how they make you feel.” - Jessi Michel Agadoni

Naturally Sensitive - 3 Steps for Regulation While Upleveling
play

07/08/22 • 0 min

Episode 40 Season 2

You're currently in a phase of upleveling, returning to your authentic self, your original nature, and it's intense. You're stirring up a ton of emotions, both old and new, perhaps it even feels like you're taking a step backwards rather than forwards. Finding purpose, clearing the patterns of childhood, and easing into your true self can and will be possible if you remain in your body through it. Don't give up! Jessi is here to teach you how to do this with 3 simple steps in today's episode. Jump in!

Topics Discussed:

  1. Why moving forward can often bring back old thought patterns, emotions, and habits. [00:06:20]
  2. How to eliminate doubt when feelings of second-guessing resurface. [00:15:25]
  3. How nature can help us see clearly and return to our original selves. [00:28:12]
  4. Jessi shares what's coming forward with The Authentic Calm Method. [00:34:50]

Quotes:

“When we navigate big transformational seasons in life, we’re being asked to release old patterns and to step into something that represents who we want to be. This is really a return. A return back to our original selves, how we came into this world and who we are ultimately supposed to be.” - Jessi Michel Agadoni

“We’re supposed to live in our bodies, not our minds. Our minds are accessories while our body is our 3D reality.” - Jessi Michel Agadoni

“To become our authentic selves we need to be amongst nature's frequencies. I believe that modern life has cut us off from the energy presence that helps us know who we truly are. Immersing yourself in nature is a great way to regain this connection.” - Jessi Michel Agadoni

Naturally Sensitive - How Niceness Leads to Dis-ease
play

03/12/22 • 45 min

Season 2 Episode 23 we step into why so many of us are nice and how this is impacting us on many levels, including the biological level. Jessi shares her journey into niceness and revelas her personal opinion on the millenial generation's hang ups around niceness and the deep need for real one on one conversations, despite our many diverse viewpoints. She reviews how to healthfully hold your ground physically when in an overactivating situation, like saying no or vocalizing a need or a differing opinion. Jessi shares her observations from life, clinical practice and favorite expert and answers the question - why is it that so many nice people develop dis-ease? This is a deeply personal share and one that is foundational to the Authentic Calm Method and all of Jessi's work. It's not one you will want to miss!

Topics discussed:

  1. Why are we nice?
  2. Why are the nice humans the ones to deveop disease.
  3. How we can step out of niceness and live authentically and healthfully.

Episode quotes

"What does it mean to be nice and how does this impact your body? As a human, but especially as a sensitive. I'm just going to give it all to you in one sentence, maintaining your niceness is the path to disease. Let's talk about this. So first of all, why are you nice? Why is it that you feel you have to always be nice and what is nice?"

"God does not ask us to be nice. God does not ask us to repress emotions, opinions, perceptions, and experiences. God does ask us to step into other people's shoes and to be kind. But he also, and I personally connect with God as a, he as a little side note. But. God also, you know, asks us to have healthy boundaries."

"So you can be respectful. You can be kind, you can be loving, you can be giving, you can be conscientious. You can be thoughtful. You can be aware, you can be intelligent. All these things you can be without being nice. Without repressing. Now you may have many conversations that are uncomfortable because within our beautiful country here, we are quite diverse in our view set."

"I of course experienced the world differently than most people. And as a result of this experience, a lot of rejection around any sort of expression of my experience or my needs, I received the message and owned the message and absorbed the message that I was too much and that I was drama and that I was selfish."

"Why is it that the nicest piece, but people are always the ones that seem to get sick. Why is that rarely, do you see the cranky, bitchy bastardly individuals actually die young?"

Tune into this episode and discover how you too can achieve this sense of security and peace.

Naturally Sensitive - How to Navigate Mold as a Sensitive
play

04/01/22 • 0 min

Season 2 Episode 26

In Season 2 Epsiode 26 Jessi dives into the daunting topic of mold. She tells the story of her personal experience with mold exposure and how it has vastly affected her life from a young age. She discusses the wide range of symptoms that may manifest as a result of mold exposure and what we can do to identify them. Mold often goes unnoticed and as Sensitives, we may be the only ones who feel the physical or mental symptoms of mold exposure. Jessi discusses how to navigate this challenge as well as how to properly test and eradicate mold from both your home and your body. She touches on the importance of sourcing the right people to help with this, as the average mold removal process in American today is inaffective and could actually cause more harm then good. This episode serves as an overall introduction to the topic of mold exposure, a very important consideration when returning to your Authentic Calm.

Topics Discussed:

  1. What symptoms may manifest as a result of this exposure? 00:2:00
  2. How you can be exposed to mold in our day-to-day lifes? 00:03:06
  3. How to properly test for mold in your home, who to trust when going about this process and why most mold removal companies don't serve your long term best interest? 00:26:19
  4. How to ensure your body is rid of a mold infection after the exposure? 00:33:10

Quotes:

"The mold piece of the puzzle really I'm understanding now, has been the foundational layer to everything for me. I think it's actually what took my immune system beyond what it could handle and kind of broke down my body."

"One of the main symptoms of mold exposure is exhaustion, especially for sensitive. So if you're feeling really exhausted at home, that's a big sign that you're being exposed. The home is your number one priority & it's important to test your home."

"Mold can be pathogenic, meaning that it can take up residence inside of you and colonize and grow, but not all mold is toxic. So the specific strains that are toxic are the ones that release as mycotoxins. We want to be really be cautious of these. So when we go into the home and we test for mycotoxins, we're testing to see if those specific toxins are being released into the air and then from there you get the results and they will give you a really, really long remediation plan."

"You need to test your body. You need to see what's going on because if you're being exposed to mycotoxins there's a high chance that you're holding onto them. Cause a lot of mycotoxins do not clear naturally you actually have to push them out."

Naturally Sensitive - Healing Risk Aversion Through Adventure
play

03/17/23 • 50 min

Risks! Who likes to take risks!? Not many Natural Sensitives, that's for sure, but due to a recent adventure in Chicago Jessi had the opportunity to face some old fear patterns and take a risk of her own! It's been a while since she opened up and brought us into her day to day experiences, but today is one of those days. If you have struggled to step into challenging, but important opportunities in the past or desire to heal risk aversion, this episode will be very expanding for you. Jessi didn't arrive here overnight, but her practical and real life experience demonstrates the possibility of growth and freedom that is available to you as well! This is a great episode to enjoy while on a walk. Enjoy!

Discussion Topics

  1. The type of risk Natural Sensitives, like Jessi, tend to avoid[15:00]
  2. Why risks are especially hard for Natural Sensitives [17:55]
  3. What freedom from risk-based fear looks and feels like for a Natural Sensitive [31:55]

Quotes “ I want us to start separating our negative experiences from our childhood that we married into the risk taking action because as sensitives, we are here to take risks, we shouldn't be afraid of them. I think what it's all about is how we take the risk, is how we go about it, is having that awareness of what we as unique sensitives need in order to be healthy in that risk taking action.” – Jessi Michel Agadoni

“ Don't avoid risks that you know in your heart are there to guide you back to yourself.” – Jessi Michel Agadoni

“What I've really come to believe is that God gives us the desires of our heart. God gives us desires because that's where we're meant to go and that our desires, our longings our leanings our tendencies are not an accident. They are a reflection of who we are here to be, who we're here to become, who we actually are. So anytime I feel a spark towards something, I'm now leaning into it, even if it looks scary, even if in the past I've totally beefed something like that, even if there is a legitimate possibility that I could just eat it in front of a lot of people, I am going to lean into it.” – Jessi Michel Agadoni
