I have always said, "You Are What You Eat." After doing some of my own research, I have figured out that there are foods you should "avoid" in order to manage your Anxiety. After having a conversation with Tay Gendron, she taught me, "You Are What You Absorb."
Take a listen as Tay talks about how your Gut Health can lead to Anxiety. She shares her story of dealing with ongoing Panic Attacks and depression to the point where it was interfering with her every day life. She was on the highest dose of Prozac and thought to herself, "This just isn't working for me." After the advice from her Psychiatrist, she decided to wean off her medication and there began her journey to learn how to nourish her body to help manage her Mental Health.
