Labors of Love
09/06/20 • 47 min
In a special Labor Day episode, Kaanji and Tara are joined by two very special guests, fellow moms Dominique and Dianthe. All four mothers share their wildly different labor and delivery stories that involve orange juice, epidurals, a presidential inauguration and Dominos pizza!
The one takeaway from each story is that when it comes to labor and motherhood, no amount of planning can prepare you for real life. Later in the episode, Kaanji and Tara discuss the passing of two Black icons this week - actor Chadwick Boseman and legendary Georgetown coach, John Thompson.

Kaanji and Tara are both anti-racism advocates and members of the leadership team for Embrace Action, an anti-racism advocacy and educational nonprofit organization. You can learn more about Embrace Action by visiting www.embraceaction.org
