22. Virtual Kindergarten... More Like Mommy Jail
Mommy's on a Call - Holistic Health & Wellness for Modern Moms, Work-Life Balance, Self-Care Habits, Entrepreneurship, Mindful Parenting
09/08/20 • 33 min
Now that we've officially started (distance learning) Kindergarten (aka Zoom Kindergarten), I decided to bring on some of my Mommy Pod to discuss how they're coping with virtual kinder and what they're doing to make it work.
Starting Kindergarten off virtually has been an interesting and unique experience, and not necessarily a good one for many reasons. But kids are resilient and in the end, they seem to be doing okay.
But are the parents? Not at all. Just like in the spring, the parents are still the ones suffering and for many, at least one parent (in many cases the mom) has to be available at all times.
So how can we make this work? What can we do to help our children and ourselves?
