Sara is the owner of NOLA Pelvic Health in her hometown of New Orleans, La and founder of The Vagina Whisperer, an online resource for pelvic health education and wellness sessions to help individuals worldwide. She is a doctor of physical therapy, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in 2004 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007 from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a board certified pelvic health physical therapist specializing in the treatment of pelvic floor muscle dysfunction in men and women. She received the 2019 Alumni Achievement Award from Washington University in St Louis’ Program in Physical Therapy and was named one of New Orleans’ Top 40 under 40 young professionals in 2019. She is a mom, wife, Saints fan and wanna be yogi.

Marlysa Sullivan MPT, E-RYT 500 is an Assistant Professor at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) where she teaches in the integrative science and yoga therapy departments. Marlysa is an active participant in research and has been involved in research on yoga for anxiety and on yoga for low back pain at Walter Reed. She has co-authored the book Yoga and Science in Pain Care: Treating the Person in Pain.
