Meghan Gallagher is a Nutrition Coach. She lives for helping clients hit their goals and feel more comfortable in their bodies. With her extensive nutrition and food knowledge from growing up in restaurant kitchens, Meghan can help you lose weight and gain muscle whether you eat vegan, fat adaptive, or just need to clean your eating habits.
She has been crossfitting for over 6 years and loves Strongman competitions. Ask her how she did in her competitions from a couple of years back. She always has a bright smile for you as you enter the gym, loves the CFP community , and loves watching the confidence that builds when members hit their goals.

Together, we will delve into your goals and dreams and determine your personalized financial path. Your responsibility is to teach me about you. Through this process, we will pause when necessary to discuss financial concepts, building the foundation of Financial Wellness.

Discover Rising Tides: Being outside is very important to me. There are many ways to be outside. It can be as simple as sitting in the grass on a warm summer day. Walking barefoot in the grass or on the beach, feeling the sand between your toes. Other times, it is important to be challenged. A heart-pounding, sweaty hike or a paddle “into the wind”. Something to clear the thoughts and cobwebs of the mind.

Being a solopreneur, allotting time to be outside can be downright hard. Thoughts creep on “If I am not working, no one is working”. She knows there are others out there experiencing the same thing. She feels the need to talk to them, to support them, to acknowledge them, to learn from them. She feels we can all support, acknowledge and learn from each other. That's how the Discover Rising Tides Podcast was born.

She believes that – in Audre Lorde’s words – “self-care is an act of resistance” unto itself because the only way to make change is to maintain your energy, health and mental wellbeing.
Shelly shares her methods of self-care in her book, “Sit Down To Rise Up: How Radical Self-Care Can Change the World” which was honored as a Gold winner of the Nautilus Book Award and a finalist for the Fall 2021 Big Idea Book Club.

Her upcoming book, “How We Ended Racism: Realizing a New Possibility in One Generation,” co-authored by Justin Michael Williams, is due out in October of 2023 from Sounds True.

Shelly holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and a Master’s Degree from Columbia University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Philanthropic Leadership at the Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
