Lindsay- What to do when you've lost your cool
05/04/22 • 17 min
You've lost it, now what? In this episode, Lindsay breaks down Repair after Rupture. Repairing after rupture is basically a formula for repairing your relationship with your child after there has been a conflict or disconnect. Repairing can teach our child so many things (reminding yourself of the lessons it teaches can be so helpful when we are caught in the shame cycle). It models conflict resolution skills, and accountability. Most importantly it shows our child that because we aren’t perfect it means that they don’t need to perfect.
