Four Traits of a Healthy Mentoring Relationship Featuring Jeff Reimold (EP. 175)

Send us a text

Jeff is back on the pod for EP. 175 as shares two more impactful mentorship moments and four traits of a healthy mentoring relationship. There are many ways to impact a man’s life, but we believe the most impactful way is through one-to-one mentorships. From scriptural stories of Barnabas and Paul to Paul and Timothy, this mentorship model of iron sharpening iron still rings true todayHere are 4 traits of a healthy mentoring relationship:#1 - Be resilient – keep your ears and eyes open to what your protege is telling you#2 - Show grit – change can be difficult, but if you show grit to push through it, it will be worth while#3 - Care – if you really care it will show and your protege will want to do the things you are challenging him to do#4 - Get to know them – the more we really know the people we are trying to help the better we will understand their perspectivePut these four traits into practice in your mentoring relationship and both the mentor and protege will be positively impacted. What is a Healthy Marriage? Featuring Tony Galati (EP. 177)

Send us a text

Tony Galati joins the podcast for EP. 177 as we start the month of July talking about marriage and relationships. What does a healthy marriage look like? The foundation of a healthy marriage is two healthy people who love God. In Ephesians 5:25 we read, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her.” Men, we are called to love our wives as Christ loved the church, that is a sacrificial love. If we are unable to imitate Christ daily, how can we love our wives well? Everything points back to loving others and being imitators of God. If we live our lives this way, our marriages will be amazing.Tony joined the Men of Iron team in August of 2022 as our Iron Rep in Lancaster, PA and the surrounding region. Tony and his wife Olga live in Lancaster and have two sons, Anthony, and Pedro. Tony is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College with a degree in Biblical Studies and Counseling.“God instilled in me a passion to help others from a young age. However, I spent the early years of my life bouncing between halfhearted commitments and living in pure rebellion. I am grateful for God’s grace, mercy, love and forgiveness. I have allowed God to take my regrets and use them as opportunities to help others as I am able to relate to many of the issues men face today. I also have a deep passion to help men who are walking through difficult marriages. God has truly blessed me with my position at Men of Iron and I humbly and thankfully choose to be used as a vessel for Him.”Listen to the Men of Iron Podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Alexa, Google Podcasts and many more!
