Meditation, Yoga & Stuff with Sunita

Send us a text

Two weeks ago in podcast episode 108 called “Ayurveda and Menopause”, I discussed how Ayurveda can help during this phase of life, and listeners wanted to know more. So here we are.

Ayurveda, an ancient holistic healing system from India, recognizes individual differences in body constitution, known as doshas. There are three primary doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, which represent specific qualities and govern various physiological and psychological aspects of an individual. During menopause, these doshas play a significant role in determining a woman's experience and symptoms. In this podcast episode, I am discussing how understanding the Ayurvedic constitution can help tailor personalized treatments, lifestyle modifications, and herbal remedies to manage menopausal symptoms effectively and promote overall well-being. By restoring balance within the doshas, Ayurveda aims to alleviate discomfort and support a smoother transition through this transformative phase of a woman's life.
