May the life-force be with you! - Hold your Honey with Sandira Belia

Hold your Honey with Sandira Belia

07/24/24 • 50 min

May the life-force be with you!

Sandira Belia, a painter, writer, and group facilitator, shares her deep connection with bees and the wisdom they offer.

She discusses her journey of bridging the physical and non-physical worlds through her relationship with bees.

Sandira explains how bees are an embodiment of life force and how they can inspire humans to open their hearts and be present. She also explores the importance of holding and balance in life, as symbolized by the hexagonal structure of the beehive.

Takeaways

  • Bees are an embodiment of life force and can inspire humans to open their hearts and be present.
  • The hexagonal structure of the beehive symbolizes the importance of holding and balance in life.
  • Bees have a unique role in revitalizing the ethers of the planet.
  • A different relationship with bees is needed, one that recognizes their importance and respects their role in nature.

More about our guest: Sandira was born in Brittany, in North-western France. Often seen as a bizarre and otherworldly child by others, she figured out early on that she wouldn't fit into boxes that conventional society offered. Thanks to her activist and open-minded parents, she was encouraged to travel the world to find her truth.

After a few years of training and working in Environment Education, she spent a large part of her young adult life backpacking over the world, with an unshakeable trust in her guiding star, in a quest to understand the authentic nature of life.

She studied with various teachers, human and non-human. Some of the most inspiring ones have been Ayahuasca and Psilocybin, as well as with the spirit of an extremely wise little creature: the honeybee.

Fourteen years ago, she arrived in Portugal where she explored various alternative ways of living.

For many years, the honeybee has been one of her closest ally, her muse, and healer. In 2017, she founded the Bee Wisdom Network, a Synergetic web of Bee Lovers, and wrote her first book, in which she shares many of her delightful conversations with the Deva of the honeybees.
