Ep #14: Are you your own ride or die?

Making Midlife Magic

Your ride or die is a friend who always stands with you. Someone who celebrates you in the good times and comforts you when things turn bad. A friend who always has your back, whether you’ve been betrayed by another person or by life itself.

But often, we're not this way with ourselves. When things go wrong, we judge ourselves rather than supporting ourselves.

In this episode, I'll share two core beliefs of ride or die friends and how we can use them to be our own ride or dies.

The ability to be your own ride or die is life-changing. You'll want to listen to this one more than once, and to come back for next week's practical magic, when I'll share useful ways to have your own back.

One way to have your own back is to surround yourself with people who believe in you -- like me! Sign up to receive my weekly email, a burst of joy and love in your inbox.

Ep #15: How to have your own back (Practical Magic)

Our ride or die friend wants there to be more of us in the world. So if we want to be our own ride or die -- if we want to have our own back -- we need to make it easier to put more of ourselves into the world. This episode will tell you how to do just that, by creating more safety for yourself. We'll visit the ALPS and come back with practical magic to be Lacey to our own Cagney, Holmes to our Watson, Benson to our Stabler. You get the idea.

I'd love to be in touch with you to share new offerings and to send you my Saturday morning love note -- it's a great way to start the weekend! Sign up at lovenotes.coachingwithrachel.com.
