Behind the Scenes of Hula with Kumu Kamaka Kukona

The KU Project was invited to experience the Festivals of Aloha at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. From the Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Ha‘iha‘i Falsetto Contest, Hula is the Heartbeat and Sounds of the Sea, there were moments filled with aloha and pride in the Hawaiian culture.

Daniel Aipa of The KU Project talks stories with Kumu Hula Kamaka Kūkona of Hālau o ka Hanu Lehua about the beginnings of Hula becoming part of his life and the lessons he has learned and continues to teach his students.
