#78. Healers Deserve a Great Life Too, But 7 Common Fears May Hold You Back

In an obvious nod to Halloween, I thought it was a great time to revisit one of my most popular episodes.
So today, letâs take another look at the 7 most common fears that healers tend to face in private practice.
Although we all want whatâs best for our clients, we are often shamed or judged when we want whatâs best for ourselves. That sets us up for all kinds of internal conflict, and that can block our success.
On the other hand, when we find our way through and beyond those fears, real freedom is on the other side.
So thatâs what weâre diving into today.
Which one (or three) of these do you relate to the most?
Send me an email at [email protected] and let me know. I promise to respond personally, and Iâd love to hear!

#77. When Life Gets Crazy: How to Keep It Steady in Your Private Practice
Question or comment? đââď¸ Send me a text message!
One of the greatest benefits of owning your own business is that you have the freedom and flexibility to adjust as needed when life gets a little crazy.
But running a practice can also be especially challenging when the hard times happen.
How do you keep things going when youâre being pulled in too many directions?
Well, Iâve been through some of that myself lately (and not for the first time), so I thought Iâd share a few tips with you.
In this episode, weâll talk about how to prepare for those inevitable moments when life gets in the way: financially, emotionally, and even physically.
But Iâve also got a few reminders of important things to remember when you arenât prepared at all, and youâre just doing the best you can to get through.
Itâs been a little like that lately for me, which has reminded me how important this is. I hope some of these tips will make a similar period easier for you.
Take good care,
~Wendy

THIS WEEKâS JOURNAL PROMPT:
- Do a system review in your practice. Where do you have a safety net in place and where do you need to add one? It might help to talk this through with a colleague over a great cup of coffee. â
- EX: How long could I be out of work and still pay my bills? What can I do to increase that number?
- EX: Who could take care of my clients if I canât? (Find a colleague who would cover for you if you were out for a while - and you for them. Make sure they know how to get to your info.)
- EX: Where and how do I get my own needs met when things get tough?

Question or comment? đââď¸ Send me a text message!
Ready to kick back and coast through the end of the year?
Yikes. Don't do that....
Instead, ditch that conventional year-end thinking and make the most of this vibrant time of year. We're not wrapping things up just yet; there are plenty of opportunities still on the horizon, so let's seize them!
In this episode, Iâll share 3 powerful steps to take to keep the wins rolling in.
- The one step you really should take FIRST in order to keep your vibrations high and ride the energy all the way to the end of the year.
- The one goal you should probably drop - and with glee. :)
- What to do with the time thatâs left...
As youâll hear in the episode, Iâve had some of my biggest wins at the end of the year. Donât make the mistake you may see other practice owners make. Donât underestimate the power of your practice in these last 2 months.
Hereâs to your over-the-top breakthrough to success...đĽ
