Advocacy In A Cup

The term advocacy is a vision of protest, marches, speeches, arrests, and leadership. Without individual, as well as collective leadership, advocacy platforms will start to implode into spaces of nothingness. It will start taking on the presence of a clown or a quick-fix solution to make money or for venting purposes.

Leadership is a value that cannot be replaced by systems or people that believe that they are those systems of change. Leadership within the space of advocacy is a chosen purpose for change and/or to eradicate systems that go against the core value of humanity, and that is to flourish in life.

This podcast session will be used to address advocacy, how to remain an advocate, and solutions designed to increase levels of success on these platforms. Being an advocate is no walk in the park. Self-care must be connected to advocacy platforms from the inside out. Advocacy can be a driving force to bring forth change once the concentration transfers from the "I" to "we".

When advocacy is suppressed by the very systems that they promote to change this is Advocacy In A Cup.
